Heightened security outside US Capitol, one police officer dead | AFP

Law enforcement officers secure the US Capitol after a police officer was killed after a car slammed into a security barrier srurounding the Capitol building. The Capitol is on lockdown with National Guard troops mobilized after shots were reportedly fired in the incident. The driver who rammed at the police officers is also dead.
